Relationship Challenges

Humans are hardwired to connect with others. We desire close relationships with others and our relationships with others bring us happiness, support, provide a sense of safety, comfort and companionship. However, when relationships with important people in our lives create pain, fear, and frustration, we start to feel a lack of safety and comfort with ourselves and our environment.

I work with individuals who want to resolve their relationship challenges so that they are able to experience satisfying and meaningful relationships with their partner, friends, and family members. I also work with couples who are looking to heal their relationships and work through their relationship struggles so that they are able to move forward into a connected and satisfying partnership.

Together, we will work to:

  • Gain insight on what may be preventing you from finding the right partner

  • Discover what your attachment needs are

  • Gain clarity on what you are looking for in a partner

  • Discover and work through automatic patterns of behaviour and ways of responding that may be preventing you from experiencing a satisfying relationship

  • Examine the main issues that may be hindering your relationship

  • Implement new approaches to maintain a positive connection within your relationship

  • Improve communication skills, feel understood, and better understand your loved ones

Through our work together, you can expect to gain insight into yourself and your relationships, discover and change unhelpful habits and beliefs that may be preventing you from experiencing satisfying relationships, build a deeper capacity for intimacy and understand what you need to maintain connectedness with others, learn new tools to better manage conflict, and experience trust and safety within your relationships.
